Day 2: Manali to Jibhi
- Manali: 2,050 m
- Jibhi: 1,600 m
- Start from Manali after a relaxed breakfast.
- Descend through scenic pine forests and apple orchards.
- Cross Kullu town and follow the Beas River until Bhuntar.
- Take a detour at Aut Tunnel towards Banjar Valley
- Ride uphill into the less explored Seraj region, full of dense cedar forests and waterfalls.
- Arrive at Jibhi, a charming hamlet known for its wooden architecture and peaceful vibe.
- Jalori Pass (optional ride) – 12 km from Jibhi (3,120 m)
- Chehni Kothi – a 17th-century Himachali tower temple (1.5 hr hike)

Day 3: Jibhi to Sarahan Via Jalori Pass

- Ascend steep, narrow roads to reach Jalori Pass– one of the most scenic and raw Himalayan mountain passes.
- Short stop at the top to enjoy panoramic views of the Dhauladhar and Kinnaur ranges.
- Optional: Quick trek (30–45 min one-way) to Serolsar Lake.
- Descend sharply toward Ani, and reconnect to the NH-5 highway near Rampur.
- Ride along the Satluj River through Jeori and ascend the final few km to Sarahan.
- Jalori Pass – Pristine alpine landscapes, especially beautiful in early summer.

Day 4: Sarahan to Chitkul
- Sarahan: 2,300 m

- Begin early morning from Sarahan.
- Descend to Jeori, rejoin NH-5, and ride along the Sutlej River.
- At Karcham Dam, take the left turn into the Baspa Valley toward Sangla.
- Gradual ascent through pine forests, traditional wooden houses, and apple orchards.
- Ride beyond Sangla to Rakchham and finally reach the fairytale village of Chitkul, nestled right beside the Baspa River.
- Karcham Dam – A major hydroelectric project and gateway to Sangla Valley.
- Sangla Town – Small bustling settlement with local markets and cafés.
- Rakchham Meadows – Stunning alpine views and wildflowers.
- Chitkul Village – The last inhabited village before the Indo-Tibetan border, known for:

Day 5: Chitkul to Kalpa

- Ride back through Rakchham and Sangla, descending to Karcham (junction with NH-5).
- Rejoin the NH-5 and continue towards Powari.
- Climb the scenic uphill road via Reckong Peo, the district HQ.
- Final 8–10 km ride to reach Kalpa, nestled high above the Sutlej Valley with spectacular views of the Kinner Kailash range.
- Sangla Valley – Morning mist, wooden houses, and peaceful village life.
- Baspa–Sutlej Confluence at Karcham

Day 6: Kalpa to Tabo

- Depart early from Kalpa, fuel up at Reckong Peo or Powari (last reliable fuel station before Kaza).
- Continue along NH-5 past Pooh toward Khab Sangam — the dramatic confluence of Spiti and Sutlej Rivers.
- Climb the famous Kazigs (zig-zag hairpins) to reach Nako Village — ideal for lunch or a short lake visit.
- After Nako, leave the main highway to take a detour into the Gue Valley.
- Remote, peaceful hamlet near the Indo-Tibet border.
- Gue Monastery houses a remarkably preserved mummy of a Lama over 500 years old — still with skin, teeth, and hair.
- Offers expansive views of the desert mountains, prayer flags, and silence.
- Short final ride from Gue → Tabo (approx. 30 km).

Day 7: Tabo to Pin Valley
Distance: 80–90 km Duration: 5 to 6 hours (leisure pace with exploration)

- Lalung: 3,650 m
- Mudh (Pin Valley): 3,700 m
- Start with an early breakfast in Tabo.
- Ride 32 km to Dhankar, the ancient cliff-hanging monastery overlooking the Spiti–Pin confluence.
- Optional hike (45–60 mins one way) to Dhankar Lake – surreal high-altitude lake above the monastery.
- Continue 8 km on a narrow road to Lalung, a peaceful village with a sacred 10th-century monastery.
- Retrace back slightly to the main Spiti highway and ride ~20 km further toward Attargu Bridge, the gateway to Pin Valley.
- Cross the bridge, enter the protected Pin Valley National Park, and ride through Sagnam and Gulling to reach Mudh Village, the last motorable point.

Day 8: Pin Valley to Kaza

- After breakfast in Mudh, retrace the route via Sagnam → Atargoo Bridge.
- At Lingti junction, take the lesser-traveled dirt road toward Demul — one of Spiti’s most isolated, sustainable villages known for traditional housing and community-managed tourism.
- Climb further toward Komic, the highest motorable village in Asia (4,587 m).
- Continue to Hikkim — home to the world’s highest post office.
- Roll into Langza, marked by its giant Buddha statue and fossil-rich terrain with views of Chau Chau Kang Nilda peak.
- Descend via Shila/Chicham–Kaza road into the Spiti Valley floor and reach Kaza by evening.

Day 9: Kaza to Losar

- Depart Kaza after breakfast and ride 15 km to:
- Key Monastery – 11th-century fortress-like monastery, the largest in Spiti. Spend time exploring prayer halls, rooftop views, and interacting with monks.
- Continue another 7 km uphill to:
- Kibber Village – Once the world’s highest motorable village, now a wildlife sanctuary base (for snow leopard spotting in winters).
- Visit the Kibber Monastery, walk through narrow stone lanes, and soak in panoramic views.
- Ride further to:
- Chicham Bridge – Asia’s highest suspension bridge (4,250 m) across a dramatic gorge known as Samba Lamba Nallah. A great spot for photos and wind-down break.
- Retrace slightly and join the main road to ride 40 km to:
- Losar Village – The last major village before Kunzum La. Quiet, peaceful, with river crossings and changing landscapes.

Day 10: Losar to Chandertal(Moon lake)
- Losar: 4,085 m

- Early morning start from Losar — fresh air, fewer vehicles, and better light.
- Climb gradually toward Kunzum La Pass (4,551 m) — one of the highest motorable mountain passes in Himachal.
- Stop at the Kunzum Mata Temple.
- Panoramic views of CB (Chandra–Bhaga) mountain range and hanging glaciers.
- Descend on a narrow and rough dirt track to reach the Chandratal diversion near Batal.
- Ride 14 km on a non-tarmac road full of stones, mud, and narrow sections.
- Reach the Chandratal parking lot (motorable point).
- Trek 1.5 km (easy walk) to reach the actual lake shore.
Day 11: Chandertal to Manali
- Chandratal: 4,270 m
- Batal: 3,950 m
- Gramphu: 3,200 m
- Manali: 2,050 m
- Early start from Chandratal (ideally before 7:30 AM).
- Ride the 14 km off-road trail from the lake to Batal — rocky, narrow, and may have stream crossings.
- Have a quick breakfast at the legendary Chacha-Chachi Dhaba in Batal.
- Continue on the Spiti–Lahaul route via Chhatru, navigating one of the most challenging sections of the entire circuit:
- Multiple water crossings between Batal and Chhatru (dangerous post-noon).
- Stunning views of the CB mountain range, waterfalls, and glacial valleys.
- Reach Gramphu and join the Manali–Leh highway (NH3).
- Option 1: Ride through the Atal Tunnel (9 km) for a quicker descent.
- Option 2 (if open): Cross the Rohtang Pass (3,978 m) for scenic adventure (adds 1.5–2 hrs).
- Descend into Solang Valley and finally reach Manali by late afternoon or early evening.
